Liza Rets is a qualified specialist in the field of biology and geography. Lisa was born in Moscow in 1985. In 2008 she graduated with honors from Moscow State University (Faculty of Geography, Department of Biogeography). Since 2005 every summer she has been working in the Far East (in 2008-2009 – a researcher in the Khingan Reserve, from 2010 - a researcher in the Sikhote-Alin Reserve). She is well aware of the local flora and fauna, as well as the general geography and geology of the Far East and Sikhote-Alin, in particular. Liza gave some lectures and seminars for students of Moscow State University, collaborated with WWF on creating and promoting a number of environmental projects, participated in international and Russian expeditions, seminars and conferences and performed her own research projects.

Club “Sikhote-Alin” proposes to take part in trips with the aim to get to unique, wild and beautiful places, to feel the nature of Sikhote-Alin Mountains.

We propose 8 long ecoroutes of different length and level of difficulty and also 8 short (1 or 2 days) trips. Our trips take place in the very heart of Sikhote-Alin. You will see places which were included in the UNESCO World Heritage list – coastal ecosystems, broadleaved forests, virgin pine and dark coniferous forests and high-mountain tundra and draft pine thicket.

After having read Vladimir Arsenyev “Dersu Uzala” I’ve always dreamed to visit the Sikhote-Alin Mountains and to see everything with my own eyes. At least I decided to make a trip to the Sikhote-Alin with my 11 years old daughter. The South of Sikhote-Alin wasn’t so attractive to me due to its accessibility for visitors, that is why I chose the Middle Sikhote-Alin without well-developed infrastructure with a great desire to see untouched beauty. Terney was selected as a point of destination because of its direct connection with Vladivostok.
